FC - Match 3

awful match for me. I need to bat the day out for an unlikely draw. Already 2 wickets down and still about 140 behind. Can't see it myself. Looks like 2nd place in FC for me. There is no other competition in my division

8 wickets down, 150 ahead. because i forgot to set orders on first day, i actually have two batsmen in with one to come. so might set a total of 220ish again, which might work....

We ended the day 42-1, still 199 behind. Need to bat 90ish overs to avoid defeat, can't see it happening.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Interesting day for Mrs BB. Her oppo leads by 3 runs and is 1 down in their 2nd innings. 3 spinners set as 1st 3 bowlers and all set V. Attacking to try and rip through them.

After posting 373 yesterday afternoon I had 18 overs at them and they finished the day 39-5!

3rd over of the day:
21.3 W Sharma to Randall
Caught in the deep. Sharma bangs it in short, Randall swats it off one leg but straight to Williams at deep square leg, and that's the end for him.
21.2 W Sharma to Ramsay
Absolutely plumb. Dead centre and Ramsay didn't even bother to wait for the decision. An unplayable inswinging yorker does the trick.

Two best batsmen gone, 48-7.

I'm now hopeful I can cling on for a draw. I'm quite grateful that my no9 batsmen is "mediocre" and can stick around for a while. It'll be all over after this wicket but hopefully I'll have enough of a lead but it's going to be close!!

Mcgee doing well again, could I have won in the bowling conditions? Maybe. But I'll still be top with the draw so glad to have saved the PFL. Tate is on his 33rd over (though did take out one of the 100k+ openers!!).
