FC - Match 3

MrB

Life President
Zanarkand Abes v ShrimperZone CC

Always an unusual game. Zanarkand are massively batting heavy and he sets his team up to draw all his games. Though his pitch is now uneven rather than flat. Cloudy in Kent today, sunny tomorrow so a big toss to win.

Only upside is that McCloud is on fresh fitness somehow, probably because he bowls him to death, so shouldn't be as much of a threat.

Southend v Thommos Trojans

I'm two batsmen light for this due to the recent sales of Hazel and Stearman. It's left me with 9.9m to buy a replacement, but I'm undecided between a gun batsman or another all-rounder.

I expect to lose this game.

Key game for me both of us are unbeaten on full points. I expect to win this but won't be counting chickens

BATTY SHRIMPERS v Arsenal Cricket Club

We'll lose this as he's got a pretty good side, and we don't have any bowling.

Selling Brooker (31 yo double Remarkable), hoping to get 3m for him, which when added to the 4m I've got in the bank, will give me a chance at picking up a decent 5th bowler.

We can tell you that BATTY SHRIMPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this partially cloudy day.

End of Over 4 (1 runs). Arsenal Cricket Club: 2-0, runrate=0.50
Overs left today: 106
Warnock 2-1-1-0
Clement* 2 (14 balls)
Tandy 0 (10 balls)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIBS DIPPERS v Victoria Park CC

4th placed Mrs BB takes on the side in 3rd. Mrs BB plays 3 spinners as she's now changed to a Dusty pitch having accquired Miraculous / Exquisite Kealy.

We can tell you that DIBS DIPPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this partially cloudy day.

End of Over 5 (1 runs). Victoria Park CC: 10-0, runrate=2.00
Overs left today: 105
Eagles 3-0-3-0
Poole* 7 (11 balls)
Govender 3 (19 balls)

Welcome to wicket wizards CG for the match between wicket wizards and Pettefershire CCC.

We can tell you that Pettefershire CCC won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this sunny day.

End of Over 7 (3 runs). Pettefershire CCC: 13-0, runrate=1.86
Overs left today: 103
Haishen 4-1-6-0
Horsfield* 9 (28 balls)
Butler 4 (14 balls)

slow start as we try to negotiate the new ball. wicket wizards are a good team so i've gone pretty much full strength, expecting to get caned in OD this week. good toss to win though with cloudy/humid expcted tomorrow, sunny again on Thursday.

Woo hoo, won an important toss for once!! McGee rips through the two openers who had 250k BTR between them and were both sublime. Just 5 more 100k+ batsmen to get through.....

Overs left today: 103
Mcgee 4-0-16-2

Must win game for us. Dale currently 5 points ahead of me in 1st. Full-strength team out at sublime. Beat them twice last season.

As always their two best bats are at 7 and 8

Edit: Who are now in.

And he's had a competent bowler bowl 12 overs for 77. If he hadn't been set as priority 1 bowler I dread to think what we'd be all out for.
