Maybe but maybe Simon Francis’ mum was also frequently frustrated that her son switched off so much and didn’t fulfill his obvious potential until much later in his career and preferred the intelligent link up play and enthusiasm of one of the squad that was considered the most popular in years as they carried on playing through hardship after hardship?

I get he’s not a big name and everyone’s cup of tea but at least three people have somehow picked Andy Edwards as their favourite over Freddy Eastwood!
