Whats that like? Heard a couple of there latest releases and obviously the most brilliant vids but hadn't thought of bothering with the album - is it worth a try?

Fratelli's album sounds great mate!

Have a look on myspace and you can listen to the whole album, well worth checking out!

I don't think you can beat this little gem

On the music front I'm just not into all this modern sh!t that masquerades as music. In fact I'm not really the music type but occassionally I'll pick up things that take my fancy.

Current CDs in the car include - Kill Bill (soundtrack), The Best of the Kinks, The Animals and Madonna - Confessions on a Dancefloor (very disappointing)

That album is very good as is their first one (which is self titled) Also if you get a chance to see them live, do it! They put on a wicked show and perform their videos. I saw them at the O2 Festival and they performed their video for A Million Ways, they were the first act on and one of the most memorable.

In terms of favourite albums at the moment...

OK-GO - Oh No!
Hard-Fi - Stars Of CCTV
Editors - Back Room
Depeche Mode - Playing The Angel
Muse - Black Holes And Revelations
Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not

And finally after seeing how brilliant they were at Reading Festival

The Streets - Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living

without a doubt my all time fav

Guns 'N' Roses: Appetite For Destruction

best rock album ever!!

also
AC/DC highway 2 hell
AC/DC back in black
MArillion misplaced childhood

Agree great album

Strangely, not been listening to much music lately - not sure why. The exception to this is Frank Sinatra, whose Classic Sinatra (a live compilation album) is always close at hand.

Marvellous.

Audioslave's Revelations, which I stole off bittorrent a few weeks ago, has been quite regular in my cd player of late.

I've also been listening to A Matter Of Life and Death by Iron Maiden a lot recently.

Currently listening to The Rifles - No love lost.

Went and saw them at chinnerys on monday and bought the album the next day. Havent been able to stop listening to it since! would definately reccomend people to buy it!

This week, to save the sheer tedium of the Holiday Inn @ Gloucester, I have had my ipod pumping the following through my mini speakers -

The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses
The HMS Fables - Shack
Milk Eyed Mender - Joanna Newsom (didn't think Ys was out till November hexagon_sun?)
Give 'Em Enough Rope - The Clash
Brothers Gonna Work It Out - Chemical Brothers (mix album)
As Heard on Radio Soulwax Pt2 - 2Many DJs

Bit of a mix I'll grant you, the result of having the time to sit scrolling through my ipod and listening to stuff I haven't heard in ages - most enjoyable it was too.

You're right, it isn't but it's out there now if you know where to look

Iron and Wine - Our Endless Numbered Days
Richard Hawley - Coles Corner.
Both brilliantly beautiful albums.
The new album by The Walkmen is out this week too. Very much looking forward to that. Have seen them this summer and they were superb.

You too? What a coincidence! Bloody good album that.
