Ticket News FA Trophy 3rd Round Draw - Brentwood Town (A) - Sat 7th Dec TICKETS SOLD OUT

Brentwood may think that if they switch to a ground that can accommodate a bigger crowd and subsequently deliver a financial reward they might switch. Also the authorities might prefer that.We can only wait and see.If they dont cant see that we will get many tickets

I genuinely feel we might lose this on current form. They beat Hereford in the last round, and you just know this has the potential to be a complete disaster.

We have nothing to play for this season, so we might as well try and take the Trophy seriously.
I don't get that defeatist attitude. It's only 8 points off of the playoffs. You can't say there is nothing to play for this season. Of course, things aren't the best at the moment but it's only November! Teams have been in the bottom 4 at Christmas and made the playoffs. Don't write anything off yet.

Hopefully we'll get around 1,500-1,750. Will be tight to get tickets still.
No chance - they had a game earlier this season where 700 odd turned up.
Can easily see them selling 1000 for this game.
Leaves 1000 ish for us.
Luckily I’ll be able to attack tickets from both sides living a few minutes away.

Someone i know supports them after refusing to go to watch West Ham at the london stadium when they left Upton Park. Average gate is around 150-200, maybe 400 for a bigger game with some away fans. they took a coach to Hereford. their fan base is made up of old West Ham. Could be interesting as they were looking for some when they played at RH a few years ago in the Essex Cup. Smashed up one of the toilets in the East Stand from memory
Would be hilarious then if the game got switched to the London Stadium.

If they switch it might be like the FA Cup where they lose prize money and it's played at a nearby ground.

Thought the capacity is only 1k? We will be entitled to 15% so about 150 tickets?

that was probably more to do with away fans. No way they have anywhere near that many fans. Average gates are around 150-200

I believe our biggest win in our 120 odd year history was away at Brentwood 10-1 win in the FA Cup

I bet Brentwood are rubbing their hands a guaranteed sellout crowd and poorly out of form Southend United side turning up 60 years later. lol
It was at Roots Hall. I’m sure a certain person on here will furnish you with all the facts and figures from that game! A memorable game in what many on here would surely agree was the most entertaining season in all my years of watching Southend.

45 minute walk from the station to the ground. Not ideal.

Yep and the pub situation isn’t much better either. The high street must be a good 30 minute walk at least.

Very little else near the ground, from memory.

No pubs near ground at all. I'd imagine the Brentwood Centre will open it's bar next door. But from memory that place is awful. So it will be a long walk or a cab if arriving by train.

I remember it well. A certain Billy best just destroyed them on his own, with a bit of help from big Gary Moore. They pulled it back to 1.1 if I remember and looked a bit tasty for a while..... then Billy took the floor.

Better nothing to play for than no club at all. I, for one, will never take the mighty Shrimpers for granted again. I'm just happy to have a club to support, even if it's a mediocre one. Only four months ago, there was no guarantee of that.

It's a good draw in that's is a local game and short train journey away.

It's a terrible draw in that our allocation will be poor, the ground is in the middle of nowhere and we will probably get beat and mocked by the mockneys
