I very much doubt there will be ticket chaos.  I am guessing there will be plenty of people that wont go to WHL again.  To be honest I am contemplating not going becuase of the awful experience I had getting home last time!
If we get to play Spurs away again, ticket demand would be at least the same as the Carling Cup game.

I am just not sure if it will be though. There were a lot of moans and groans from supporters as it was seen that we had drawn either spurs of cardiff. Not as many people are nearly as excited as they were for the carling cup. Although I suppose it is a premiership team and people will want to see them play. Am just not expecting it to be quite as chaotic as it was for the carling cup.

People who are going Barnsley away should get first dibs, then Barnsley at home, then seaso card holders and so on...
hear hear

No they shouldn't. Surely, it is a condition of season ticket sales that they get priority. SUFC have given a contractual undertaking to give them priority and you can't change that on a whim.

Yeah too right. I pay up front for my season ticket and to be a STH you expect benefits such as priority over non seasos. Barnsley away stubbs should be second priority.

Have they? I didnt realise one. I'm probably wrong though.

Before you ask I'm a seaso ticket holder and I'm not going to Barnsley away, although I did go to Barnsley at home.

And I think this may be the main point of confusion.

When I said people going to Barnsley away then Barnsley at home, what I really meant was that season card holders that went to these games, as its obvious that season ticket holders come first, they always do.

If I'm not mistaken I thought that for the Col******r and Tottenham games where there were fewer seats than season ticket holders, priority for tickets was given to season ticket holders who also had away ticket stubbs. However I doubt the demand for Tottenham tickets will be that great this time around, providing we do get them!!! I personally am going up to Barnsley purely on the basis that I support Southend - not because I'm worried about getting a ticket for the next round

You are mistaken. Only Col******r had further criteria to sub-prioritise season ticket holders. At no times have non season ticket holders had priority over season ticket holders which is in keeping with the conditions of issue.

If we do beat Barnsley and play spurs it will sum our fans up as only 5,500 turn up for the cup game and then you watch the mad scramble for tickets for the spurs game.
Some sort of loyalty should come into this and not just the fair weather so called fans taking choice of game when they feel like it.
Why should season ticket holders get priority when its clear they are not bothered about the cup game otherwise we would have had a far greater turn out at the hall on saturday!
Just like the few that travelled to Leeds away in the carling cup should have got priority so should the fans making the effort to go to Barnsley....Doubt it tho cos its all to logical.
Rant over!

..... you don't seem to get it. It was in the list of benefits to encourage people to buy them. You can't renege on those conditions just because you don't like it.

I'd be interested to find out how you know what proportion of Saturday's home crowd were STH's and how that compares against our average league gate.

I can see the "I went to Barnsley so I'm the most loyal fan in the world" bollocks emerging very soon ...

Since our match is Tuesday and Spurs & Cardiff don't play until Wednesday we could use it to our advantage.

If (sorry when) we win on Tuesday we could sell a £15.00 (non refundable) 4th Round Cup ticket vouchers on Wednesday to STH, then once we know who we are playing that can be used towards the 4th Round match ticket. The people with these vouchers could then be guaranteed a match ticket until say 5.00pm the following Wednesday, should it not be claimed by then the fans lose their money.

Therefore any fans who will go to the fourth round no matter who we play would get a ticket, without them panicking on day 1 if we played Tottenham again. Should we end up playing Cardiff there "could be" supporters not cashing in there voucher so the club could make a profit for very little outlay.
