Ball Number 43

We're ball number 43 for the FA Cup first round draw tonight. Who do we want?

Personally I want a really low ranked non-league club at home so that we have a chance of making the 2nd round.

Given out hit and miss form, surely a non-league side away is the last thing we want this season, as we're likely to come undone?

You know it will be Rochdale away or something 'orrible like that !

We'll get turned over and Phil will come out with "We can concentrate on the league now..."

Daggers, Braintree, col u, orient, dover, Maidstone, Barnet, St Albans city, or Boreham wood either home or away would be good.

Doesn't appear to be that many non league sides in the draw this year for some reason.

32 there should be, which is the same each season, though it does seem to look less this season.

1st Round = 40 matches (48 league, 32 non-league)
2nd Round = 20 matches
3rd Round = 32 matches (44 Prem/Champ, 20 2nd Round winners)

Seeing as the Football League sides are only entering at this stage, I'd say there are as many non-league teams as usual...
