Sadly the brickworks no longer exists and has now become a large housing estate and is currently getting bigger. That'll be from the Star Lane brickworks I guess, although I thought that was in Great Wakering rather than Little Wakering.
Like the beautiful ruin at Ballards Gore...You are right Star Lane Brickworks did come under Great Wakering although it is quite near to Little Wakering Road. Sadly the brickworks no longer exists and has now become a large housing estate and is currently getting bigger.

My uncle worked there during the war. A German Me110 crashed next to the works and he helped rescue the injured crew, and protect them from those of his workmates who wanted to beat them up until the soldiers came and took them away. You are right Star Lane Brickworks did come under Great Wakering although it is quite near to Little Wakering Road.
