Question Exiles and those that live abroad.

Only been here 2 months, so far so good.
Not too many close National League games here for us though.
I've been up here long enough to have picked up the accent. When I first came up the Northerners called me a Cockney, now people from the South think I'm a Northerner
I think Halifax is the closest NL team. I was hoping Hartlepool wouldn't go up as you can't beat a cold wet January Tuesday night in Hartlepool.?

For ceremonial purposes it is now in North Yorkshire though it was officially in Cleveland when I first moved up here. The local authorities now talk about something called Tees Valley and we even have a Tees Valley mayor. Most of the natives do call themselves Teessiders though.
Teessider seasider

That'll be from the Star Lane brickworks I guess, although I thought that was in Great Wakering rather than Little Wakering.
You are right Star Lane Brickworks did come under Great Wakering although it is quite near to Little Wakering Road. Sadly the brickworks no longer exists and has now become a large housing estate and is currently getting bigger.

My uncle worked there during the war. A German Me110 crashed next to the works and he helped rescue the injured crew, and protect them from those of his workmates who wanted to beat them up until the soldiers came and took them away.

My old man worked at Star Lane before I was born. He's a tough old ******* but he told me it was backbreaking work.

The home of the great MANNY PACQUIAO, plus many other world champion boxers.
How’s the balut? My favourite country and people in the world bar none.

I actually love balut and fridge is always stocked with Red Horse.

I’m more of a Palawan fan than Mindanao
