Who were Tommy Evans and Tommy Edwards? They sound like ringers.

Jimmy Evans was arguably our greatest ever left-back (its between him and Chrissy Powell) and I've no idea why he isn't in the team.

Dave Elliott never played on the flank, I think as H says that he was captain, I believe before Alan Moody. Didn't have the tenacity of some of our central midfielders of more recent years, more of a "Steady Eddie". I think Spud would easily beat him, Silvo and Phillips would hassle Steele into errors and because I think the P team is one of the strongest ones in contention here they get my vote, even though Freddy is in the E team!

to be fair to me i was busy telling my employers that unless they meet my wage demands that i will leave, jeezus i sound like a footballer, althought my arguments for more money were far more impressive than my argument for people to vote E :winking:
