I would've seen Burridge play 3 times (3 wins) in the 1977/78 season but as i was 7 i admit i can't remember anything about him or the games, his record was P6 W5 D1 and included 4 clean sheets so probably its fair to say he was our greatest ever loan signing, can anyone tell me the circumstances of his arrival/departure ?? i note Neil Freeman was our number one but dropped out around Christmas to be replaced by Sean Rafter and Graham Horn who both appeared to do ok before Budgie stepped in for his spell followed by Freemans return

I note Mick ^^^ has opted for Graham Birks too so that following canveys lead prompts me to put him in the side in place of Booty

I am actually .. i always do left to right as if i'm standing behind the goal looking up the pitch

I'd dismissed the idea of Butters as he only played 16 games, though as they were in a side that secured promotion (i remember 2 headers that beat Gillingham went a huge way to helping us up) i'm beginning to think he is going to get in

Adrian Burrows and Barry Hunter were other loanees that came in and did a sterling job, but just 9 and 5 or 6 appearances for those two so not able to get past Butters on that format
