Grim Jnr will be in tow so it will be the groundsman retreat (bar in the east blues) for me before the game. But the spread after as OS and I begin our mission to destroy our liver's!

For those wanting to meet up in the fish house shall we say 11:45-12?

and for anyone coming to the Spread , please note we shut the doors at 1 pm for the Donny game cos we were full to bursting . Early attendance is recommended.

12:00pm In the fish house sounds perfect to me. I am staying at the pebbles guest house Friday night and Saturday night on the eslanade so it might be a bit of a walk for us although the misus can do a bit of window shopping on the way up the high street.

I will be easily spotted as my misus's nephew will be wearing his Celtic shirt, (They are both Aberdeen born and bread) Look out for me everyone.

Can i just confirm that the Fish house is the chip shop across the lights from the Spread, I have not been back to Southend in 18 months so the name may have changed.

And Newspaper, Aberdeen - it's not a chip unless it is absorbing a quota of ink from yesterday's Mirror!

Styrofoam trays or poncy little cardboard boxes or bland, new shiny paper.

How can we criticise the youth of today when we deny them their rightful heritage?

Shrimp in a Kilt, you so speak my language. we moan and groan about the youth of today yet we don’t afford them the luxury of what we had............. They sit at home on Play station or Xbox but when I was young it was all about getting a chase of the security guard and his dog in the Hospital grounds that really pumped our blood cos it was real, not like a computer game.

Rochford Hospital was the best night time playground for any young lad who wanted to fracture the occasional rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it was real
