Just occured to me after the other 5-Live thread: I know a **** load of David's - from my brother to DTS & Abs on here.... so Shrimperzoners, think carefully - How many David's do you know (and I mean on speaking terms with, not just David Beckham/Blunkett/King of the Jews).

I have 11 Dave/David's on my facebook, my cousin is also called David who is not on my facebook and I work with two Dave's.

My middle name is David as well LOL!

My dad and a mate, that's all the ones that I can recall at the moment.

The in-laws' cat is called Dave also.

Just one in my immediate circle, that's all - some on here obviously and have worked with some in the past, had friends who called their son David, and another whose dad was Dave but not a huge amount, now, if you'd said Peter that's a whole other ball game!

I have 7 Daves in my phone... all Daves I chat to on a regular(ish) occurance

Ah but you know a Dave.... therefore proving my theory correct that EVERYONE knows a Dave....

Could probably count about 8 Dave / Davids

On a related issue, how many couples called Paul / Paula or Paul / Pauline do you know.

I know two Paul / Paulas & one Paul / Pauline.

I am a Paul! But I was at a small cocktail party a few years back and amongst the 10 or so blokes there was 8 Paul's (only really knew one)... but spooky?

And my niece is Paula, named after me :) Thanks sis...

Yes but how many couples do you know that share the combination of names? Seems to me there's quite a lot about.

I have 9 Paul's on my facebook and work with 1 Paul. :)

Dave is actually quite a boring name is it not? Not that I think my name is exciting...... However, I assume most Daves are called David which doesnt have to same dulcett tone as "Dave". Perhaps all you Daves out there should re-invent yourselves as Davids - sounds a bit more exciting than Dave hmmmm??
