Ha ha lads just saying that's all perhaps you will get him for the season as yet, I don't honestly think the better teams in league 2 are much different from the majority of league 1.

He's scoring goals, but his approach play is very inconsistent.

He needs to work on this and would be better off doing so at a club like Southend where he is (a) confident and (b) tutored by a manager like Paul Sturrock, who is not only very tactically aware but was also back in the day a great forward.

Absolutely. However Elliot Benyon is like a league 2 Wayne Rooney and it well worth a swap as he'll bang them in for fun in the Championship. He's definitely bound to be in the national squad.

Have I pushed it too far

Just a smidge but it was worth a try.

Hate to say it on here but he may end up down at the WHCS in January if Watford want him to have league one experience, we signed Gavin Massey on a 3 year deal this season from them he is the same age as Britt and presumably they know one another well so it would be a good fit for the lad. We have the two young lads from Arsenal at present who go back to their parent club at the end of December and Ibehre goes back to Mk Dons at the same time so we will be in the market for some more loanee forwards.

What I was told.

Anyone know if he's allowed to play in the FA Cup? That might be an indication of their intentions.
