No, of course not. Only the winner of the League Cup gets offered a chance to compete in the UEFA Cup next season by the FA. If, like last season, the winners qualify for the UEFA Champions League by finishing in the top four of the FA Premiership, then the UEFA Cup spot goes to the team that finished seventh.[b said:Quote[/b] (Suffolk Shrimper @ Nov. 09 2006,00:28)]So, do we automatically get a UEFA Cup place for 07/08 for just then getting as far as the semi's?
As with the other thread regarding Europe & the UEFA Cup, I am still awaiting someone to provide evidence of this claim.[b said:Quote[/b] (southend-united_fc @ Nov. 08 2006,23:30)]just so you know you have to be in the top two divisions to qualify for europe
Leave the lad alone. He hasn't done anything wrong and in my view he is more then welcome to write one liners, as is anyone. Its all about freedom of expression after all. So s-ufc wirte what you want and ignore the minor few who think its ok to slate you for the lengh of your comment.[b said:Quote[/b] (Aberdeen Shrimper @ Nov. 09 2006,00:14)]you sure it was not at 8pm with a glass of warm milk and a cookie???[b said:Quote[/b] (southend-united_fc @ Nov. 09 2006,00:07)]easily read wrong its that time of day[b said:Quote[/b] (Mr Wooly @ Nov. 08 2006,23:59)]Read Gilbo's post again.[b said:Quote[/b] (southend-united_fc @ Nov. 08 2006,23:54)]are you sure i dont think they were in europe[b said:Quote[/b] (gilbo @ Nov. 08 2006,23:52)]wigan were runners up last year. they weren't in europe. so no we won't.bedtime
It is good practice for those who feel the need to take issue with spelling, punctuation and grammar, to ensure that their own "corrections" do not contain errors. Your corrections contain two errors and furthermore miss the point that it is not actually tax payers being spent, but rather their money.[b said:Quote[/b] (Aberdeen Shrimper @ Nov. 09 2006,00:13)]Please see corrections[b said:Quote[/b] (southend-united_fc @ Nov. 09 2006,00:05)]i did sense it actually but then i thought again, thinking people on here arnt usually that clever and no your tax money is not being spent that well hardly anywhere, neither is mine or any other tax payer, dont think its just being spent badly in education
I (capital, start of sentence) did sense it actually but then i thought again, thinking people on here are not (slack grammar) usually that clever and no your tax money is not being spent that well hardly anywhere,(this sentence if totaly fragmented) neither are any other tax payers being spent well(plural, not singulra so should be payers) I dont think that it is just being spent badly in education
Latter part has always been clear as Wigan is a recent example.[b said:Quote[/b] (Mick @ Nov. 09 2006,13:38)]Euro qualifiers do have to be in the top two divisions.
Only the winners of the League Cup get a Euro place.
So how come Calais played in the UEFA Cup, then?[b said:Quote[/b] (Mick @ Nov. 09 2006,13:38)]Euro qualifiers do have to be in the top two divisions
