Europe

No, of course not. Only the winner of the League Cup gets offered a chance to compete in the UEFA Cup next season by the FA. If, like last season, the winners qualify for the UEFA Champions League by finishing in the top four of the FA Premiership, then the UEFA Cup spot goes to the team that finished seventh.

As with the other thread regarding Europe & the UEFA Cup, I am still awaiting someone to provide evidence of this claim.

It's not going to happen anyway, but I still believe this is just a made-up rumour!

Leave the lad alone. He hasn't done anything wrong and in my view he is more then welcome to write one liners, as is anyone. Its all about freedom of expression after all. So s-ufc wirte what you want and ignore the minor few who think its ok to slate you for the lengh of your comment.

Please see corrections

I (capital, start of sentence) did sense it actually but then i thought again, thinking people on here are not (slack grammar) usually that clever and no your tax money is not being spent that well hardly anywhere,(this sentence if totaly fragmented) neither are any other tax payers being spent well(plural, not singulra so should be payers) I dont think that it is just being spent badly in education
It is good practice for those who feel the need to take issue with spelling, punctuation and grammar, to ensure that their own "corrections" do not contain errors. Your corrections contain two errors and furthermore miss the point that it is not actually tax payers being spent, but rather their money.

So much to talk about at the moment and we get a dodgy English lesson.

Euro qualifiers do have to be in the top two divisions and only the winners of the League Cup get a Euro place. If only that could be extended to the Premiership and the "Champions" League.

Latter part has always been clear as Wigan is a recent example.

But, I have looked through the UEFA and FA website and cannot see anything to state which division you have to be in of your domestic league to qualify. Until I've seen something on an official website I refuse to believe it!

*Hides away until evidence is provided!*

Quote[/b] ]So how come Calais played in the UEFA Cup, then?

They would has Nante finish in top 3 in french league for Champion League place, but Nante finished outside top 6 that year, so they beat Calais in last minute to win 2-1.
