Essex Success

Lord Football

Blues on Tour
There are four teams who are affiliated to the Essex FA.

1. Southend United. League One Champions.
2. Col******r United. League One runners up, promoted to the ccc for the first time ever.
3. Leyton Orient. Promoted for the first time in 17 years.
4. West Ham. Losers!

Let us all have a minutes a silence in memory of West Ham's season.

Top ten finish in the Premier$hite, qualification for Europe and their first FA Cup Final for about 20 years. I would take the tag of loser for a season like that!

Oh dear, surely you don't allow West Ham sympathisers on here.

Surely not.

I am delighted they lost. They pi$$ed on our parade last year, but not this year. I am heartily sick of the entire back end of the Echo being given over to their FA Cup game.

This is Southend NOT East London.

Why?! They've had a superb season!!

Favourites for relegation this season, the Hammers proved all the pundits wrong by producing some wonderful football throughout a fantastic campaign to finish in the top half of the Premier$hite, reach the FA Cup Final and win a place in European competition next season. I think they fully deserve the applause ...

Only if we get promoted because I very much doubt West Ham will be flirting with relegation after that performance!

Yes, you pseudo cockney/spanish loser

If all those Southend based Hamster fans supported their local team they'd have a trophy to celebrate this summer, as it is they've won f%&k all...just how I like it.

Wet Sham are due their periodic raping and pillaging by Chelsea and/or Tottenham - I suspect that they'll struggle to finish top half next season let alone anything better.

a great day indeed. C'mon the pool. The sight of so many sad faces up Leigh Broadway did my heart no end of good.

I had a fiver on West Ham winning, it was snatched by a lack lusture Liverpool, oh how I hate thee scousers for it! :@

Talking about crap clubs, I’ve been looking at a few of the Rivals sites to gauge reaction for next season. I know that you shouldn’t judge all fans by the ranting of some of the idiots on the websites but I have to say that some Ipswich fans are the biggest bunch of ignorant, big headed, small time Charlies that have ever walked on God’s green earth. I almost sympathise with Col U fans having to live so near to so many complete and utter w%&kers.

I cant stand the bleedin hammers, and I laughed royally when they cocked up this afternoon.

They have had a successful season though without doubt - fingers crossed they follow it up with relegation next year though!

Whats more, they are a LONDON team NOT an Essex one - I dont care what anyone else says.

Knocking other clubs just because they're smaller than you seems to be the way of it these days I'm afraid - I blame the Sky Sports culture which dictates that it's "cute" to support anyone other than a handful of marketable clubs.

I find it equally embarassing when I hear our fans putting down the likes of Canvey in the same way. Col Ewe and Orient consider themselves our equals and are therefore fair game, but why pick on a club who've punched as far above their weight as Canvey have just for being "small"?

indeed, the snearing contempt that Ipswich fans some of whom live in Essex have for Col U sickened me. I hope they go down next season.

PS has anyone been to Ipswich. The most god damn awful hole (apart of course those sweet enclaves where Blues fans live ):p

Yes, yes....and recent social history and migration etc etc

But that's all logical, rational and sensible explanations. My hatred of Wet Sham is totally irational and long may it continue.

Yes. It's really crap.

The stadium's quite nice though, even though they can't fill it any more!
