No Dean Elgar who’s on paternity leave but really looking forward to these two opening. 16/0 so far….

Terrific first day and great toss to win
Pitch didn’t give much, Westley gave his wicket away with poor shot and Walter’s out for 95 not sure if he was tired or carrying an injury but slowed down after initial 50
Decent crowd first day, weather perfect and oh a great century Jordan Cox
The power of Surrey team looks unstoppable, so great to get them on back foot in day one.
Dan Lawrence bowled tidy, so Harmer may fancy his arm on day 2

From day one, it was a batting wicket, so to be in the position we were, it’s a testament to the team
Sadly a draw looks now the result, but encouraging signs so early in the season
Walter’s and Allison unusual opening pair, but seemed to work first game of season.
Said on day one, Surrey should be champions again looking at squad, but maybe like Man City they will crumble……..
