End of Season Fancy Dress...

Yeah, a theme sounds good. Suggestions?
Something to honour the players? Don't really know. After all we have a lot to reflect and honour this season. Perhaps a mass of just blue and white would be fantastic?

Not true, there were loads in fancy dress up at Grimsby on that horrible afternoon! Remember Ian Benjamin, that was a 10/10 effort whoever that was!

It was a great costume, but only a few were in fancy dress.

Maybe we should all dress up as ex-players?

Ooh Andy Ansah - the 90/91 hi-tec shirt with sun glasses and a directors clapper board thing
Kevin O'Callaghan - a deckchair and your arm in plaster (for the film buffs out there)
Rob Newman - buzz lightyear
Jeroen Boere - a custard splat shirt and an eye-patch
Drewe Broughton - a panto horse
Che Wilson - silver shirt on backwards
Steve Tilson - God
Russ Williamson, Darryl Flahavan, JCR, Jason Cook, Mark Beard, Neville Roach and Ben Abbey - 7 dwarves (and I think Phil Gridelet would be Snow White)

Having slated the idea on a further thread I am willing to go as one of the former SUFC players Village People tribute band that I posted on here a couple of months back.

I had Phil Gridelet as the cowboy one, Steve Hatter as the leather-clad motorcyle rider one, Francisco Cagigao as the Native American Indian one, Chris Ramsey as the Highway patrol one, and Roy McDonough as the construction worker one.

Bagsie first dibs, I'll take the Gridelet role.

i think its a really good idea. i love the story of when snow white got arrested. that is a classic.

i think we should all do it at southampton. to support the players, plus you'll get on the championship. lol.

more importantly i think it would show every club ion this league how gooda fans we are, still up beat!

Actually you had Lars Unger as the construction worker. Roy McDonough was the biker.

Please make sure you take your medication.

As you know the line-ups of these American bands change all the time. I mean how many of The Drifters now, were Drifters then.

Although I think Unger as the construction worker works better, as does Hatter in the Donut role.

So true, although I don't imagine Super Roy McDonough taking kindly to being axed.

Hatter as Donut. Obviously being a ring doughnut, as the waste of space in the middle.

Meanwhile, the erstwhile five dressed as the SUFC Village People can sing:

Young Manager, there's no need to feel down
I said, young manager, keep yourself off the ground
'Cos you can stay here
For I'm sure you can find
Many ways to get us re-promoted

It's been fun with T I L L Y

We've had everything, you have brought us great joy
Thanks to you, Brush and all the boys

I'm going to petition Sky and demand they enter this dynamic fivesome as a team in the next masters competition.
