If a position is not currently available then its best to send your CV into RBS, for example, anyway. You might be at the front of the queue when one does come available!

There are usually jobs in Southend RBS although the money isnt great but then I guess it depends what you are used to.

Went for a job in the Fraud department that was available at the time, but alas was given to an "in house employee", no surprise there really...

Leave RBS well alone mate , not sure if i told you about what happend to me there early this year, i worked there for over 7 years and the c unts fcuked me right over

just lucky i got a brain so i got another job quick:) :)

or you could just sign on people are better off on benefits

Got two vacancies for Maths teachers in my dept :) (yes, I'm a boring fart).

Mind you, with the crap I'm being sent on supply at the moment I think any of you lot would be far too qualified - ie heartbeat, able to stand up, not smelling of booze ALL the time..... (one I was sent failed on the last two counts - I kid you not!)

Why not think who you would like to work for in your field of expertise, as in the company, and visit their website. Most probably have details on careers, job vacancies and an address (email or post) to send them your CV.

You might just get lucky. Right place, right time and all that.

Alas it was a ref to "right place, right time".....if indeed you can look at doing the same job for 22 years as being in the right place/right time!

Ofcourse the internet was originally a military thing invented considerably many more years before the rest got a look in....so you never know!
