Embargo Talk .. Are We / Aren't We ???

It may well be they know it is going to be lifted so they are saying there isnt one now.

Yes. But the question was asked yesterday...

So if the embargo is hopefully going to be removed today, then whatever way you slice it, we are at this moment under one. Until the FL say otherwise.

I'd like to think that as we've been like that for probably all my life time - and at least since the mid-1990s - that we are now experts and we know better how to play those cards. Admittedly much of this expertise pre-dates Ron, but I'm sure it's all his fault anyway.

Indeed, but the club will want to try to avoid admitting to it and if when asked they though they were about to get out of it they may twist the truth to their purpose.

Not excusing it but can understand it.
 
As pointed out very eloquently in another thread all the following clubs have suffered administration and we are not one of them. We are certainly in a better place now than two years ago when we avoided an outcome all the following couldn't. Assuming we dont want the club to be in administration then perhaps given we fell like a stone from the Championship to L2 with a bunch of players on Championship wages we have done very well to be where we are (apologies in advance for positive post)

Whilst its an achievement not to have gone into administration how many of those clubs are mid stadium development?

We clearly have cashflow issues so the question is will we be able to complete the stadium, and will the building stadium put even more strain on us and push us in administration ?

It may well be that the stadium is ring fenced, but as all of Ron Martins companies seem to be struggling I cant see it.

AIUI you are allowed to have a minimum of 22 players registered before an umbungo kicks in. I notice from Companies House that the annual return has been filed, which would indicate that the accounts are about to be filed (hopefully).

By the way, does anyone know why Ron needs his own airline now?

TB was right, we are under an embargo. Should have been lifted this morning but no confirmation on it yet.
 
Duh, lets spend several weeks discussing something that may or not be true. From all the posts here it's just speculation, no actual facts or real information.

I do wonder if many of you actually have a real life outside of the Zone's virtual life.
