Elvis Bwomono

I really liked him. Good luck to him though. Will be trying to watch they game.

Just come on with 20 minutes to go and St Mirren 3-0 up and set to play Norwegian side Brann in the next round.

Richard Taylor very impressive, and Joe Shaughnessy on BBC Scotland as a pundit.

Ends 4-1. Brann visit Scotland next week and then Norway the week after.

Unused sub for a 1-1 draw in the first leg against Brann tonight. Richard Taylor played 70 minutes.

Second leg next Thursday.

Unused sub in a 3-1 second leg defeat in Norway. Richard Taylor played 71 minutes this time.

One of my pal’s is a StMirren season ticket holder. Was asking him how the Elvis and Taylor are doing. Said they both impressive. Richard Taylor apparently look very good and he worried they could lose him to one of top Scottish Prem Clubs or top championship clubs in England!!!!

Like Acquah, Taylor had the raw materials to go onto be a proper player. He was thrown in too early and then scapegoated for the failings of Martin and Brown.

He had the size and athleticism Championship clubs regularly seek - a lot of our former players who ticked both boxes have been the ones who have go onto play at a higher level - Stan, Spinner, Bilel, Leon Cort, Simon Francis etc. It’s not the only part of the equation but it’s the bit you can’t teach (slow players can be trained to be quicker but they won’t become Usain Bolt).
