Leon looked very leggy before being hooked on Friday, no great surprise to see him start on the bench.
Hope Kendall is fit. Thought he struggled to get into the previous two games when coming on & didn’t look particularly like his usual self.

There's going to be so many negative comments but let's just take a minute to analyse it properly.
Leon is still adjusting to full time football. It's a huge ask to play twice in 2 days. We don't want to injure him.
We played 3-5-2 against them on boxing day and won 4-0. It's the formation that gets the best out of Gus and Bridge. The 4-3-3 has hardly set the world alight with the players we have. I'm not against it at the moment tbh.

As he gave his I’m knackered sign don’t give me the ball twice in the first half against Braintree my guess is he’s only up for a second half cameo. I love him to bits but he needs a really good fitness pre season.
