Eastwood's shot - so unlucky

Very Very unlucky, anyone got any footage of it?

That should have been 2 - 0 to us and we should have gone on to an buried Leeds.

A Tortoise once won a famous Race ,Young Man .(In a Brian Clough Voice) .:p
Actually Bradders managed an assist and was a little better than of late ,but still no threat as a Striker .

Was fantastic play by Mr. Eastwood for sure. Would have been one of the best goals at the hall for a while. Deserved a goal.

even if it did fall to onrushing tortoise/man mutant guy Bradbury i would've put money on him missing although he played ok.
also how can u mistake JCR for Bradders??

It was a hell of a strike too. He was fouled originally, but kept the ball to hold off two defenders before beautifully curling it around the keeper. I was convinced it was in at first.

I remember seeing it on the championship, but can't remember it well enough to comment on whether or not its his best goal.

Well I think it would have been up with his very best, he showed great strenght to hold of a couple of defenders and he was leaning when he struck the shot just needed a little bit more bend.

yeah i have.

i just think the goal at barnsley last season takes some beating. it came from know where and was actually amazing. obviously amongst other great goals he's scored!

That is probably my favourite goal of his aswell.

Would have been a close call if he had of scored on Saturday though!

Nugent was called up to the england squad today, having scored 16 goals this season and was playing in L2 2 years ago. In light of this, i wonder just how far away our very own freddy eastwood is from that squad. His 12 league goals this season is far more impressive for a team in relegation trouble! But has Steve McClaren ever come to watch him? No! I am not saying he should be in the england squad because i don't think he is good enough by a long shot yet, he may be in time! But surely his achievements this year and past years are comparable with Mr. Nugent.
