Eastwood to QPR ?

Well forgive me but how do you or any of the other posters on here qualify to be a better manager than MM? I would imagine he has more knowledge of footballers and their ways in his little finger than any of us have collectively!

I doubt that very much, the man is a ****.
My foreskin has more football sensibility than that bent nosed northern ugly bar steward.

Ok, but from what do you base this arguement that he is a '****'? As i see it, he has been a fairly succesfull football manager at club & country level.

Freddy divided opinion both here and at Wolves, there are many, many Wolves supporters who felt that MM did not use Freddy in the most appropriate way, just as there are those who feel, as you obviously do that he was talented but lazy.

MM hardly has the best record in man management does he? Freddy needs to go to a club where the manager will nurture his precociousness and develop his skills. If you remember back to when he first came, Freddy was a fantastic team player, full of awareness and foresight - for me, this is encapsulated in that wonderful moment when setting up Juppy for that memorable 2nd goal at the Millennium Stadium.

And I would have thought it's quite obvious why that word is banned.

I dont particulary think he was lazy, just mostly 1 dimensional. His skills in that dimension were way above the defensive skills against him in the 4th & 3rd divisions but stifled by better players in the 2nd. As for MM's man management record, I can only think of one spat and that was with the mild mannered keane whom he stood up to. Was that poor man management skill?

As it has been used as an indirect refererence to womens bits i guess but more commonly as a mild derogotary term. Not an issue in its self but its a reflection on how pc we have all become.

I do wish you'd stop messing around with my quotes and putting your words within them so it looks as if it's what I've said, that's the 2nd time you've done that within this thread.

Their you go. I was certainly not trying to to make it look like your words just trying to answer a specific point! However, if it upset you, i apologise.

Why do you think not?
Only wrote it as i see it. Dont think i wrote anything other than the facts. We all saw fred having it large in leagues 2 & 1 but we also saw him struggling in the champ and subsiquently appearing to sulk. I'm not doubting the mans potential...just his attitude. As it would appear redknap, tilson & McCarthy have done.

Only at Southend I meant..He didn't languish in the reserves at Southend at all..He had a 4 mach ban where he didn't play, but apart from that, he played regularly!

Freddy didn't struggle with us, the whole team struggled and Freddy suffered as a result. The rescue bit referred to the fact that that ar5e of a manager, MM, has completely mishandled him and enver understood how to get the best out of him. In a team like that it should have been easy, and indeed, when him and Kightly were playing together it looked exactly that. It was only when MM started messing the line up around that things went wrong for him. To me that's a rescue.

I agree, Freddy struggled only because the team struggled as a whole. This is aside from the fact that Eastwood arguably had better striking partners pairing him at L2 and L1 level than he had in the Championship!!

Freddy To Coventry

Looks like Freddy may finally be on his way to Covertry (No one will talk to him at Wolves). ;)

Interesting that they also mention Swindon's bid for Charlie Mulgrew. :'(

The imminent departure of Eastwood could signal the start of a mini-clearout at Molineux. Swindon are waiting to hear if they have been successful with a £125,000 bid for full-back Charlie Mulgrew.

Good luck to Freddy I wish him all the best of luck hope he finally get given a chance to prove his worth.

In regards to Mulgrew if he chooses to go to swindon then well he is an idiot.

.... and so is whoever at Roots Hall failed to tie up the deal a couple of weeks ago to save a few quid.

Freddy's move to Coventry has fallen through after a fee and personal terms had already been agreed.
