I'd expect most League 1 teams to beat most MLS teams. It's good that Yearwood has found his level in the MLS but can't help but be slightly disappointed that he didn't develop into a top EFL player as he had bags of natural ability.

I think the standard is a bit better than that. Most rankings/comparisons I’ve seen have MLS sides ahead of most League 1 sides e.g. https://www.globalfootballrankings.com/compare?first=EnglishLeagueOne&second=MajorLeagueSoccer

FWIW attendances in MLS are on a par with the Championship.

this is the thing. MLS teams are typically 2-3 marquee players supported by a very average squad. The play is very slow, often because the marquee players are reaching the end of their careers... which is why I think L1 teams would have a good chance against them.

Even so, Dru’s probably been happier living in New York and playing against the likes of Messi every so often than playing for Burton Albion.
 
Watched Druuuuuuuu come off the bench for Nashville as a late sub in a 3-1 defeat to New York City. The standard really is diabolical and it was game over long before he came on, but he looked decent compared to the shambles that was his team.
