How about working on getting the queue for refreshments in the West stand shortend at half time, so that I can actually view the last 10 minutes of the 1st half and the 1st 10 minutes of the second half without having to dodge or stand up to see due to the late returners from the cafe?

That's more difficult as the problem requires time-specific staffing and I am sure the club may be loath to employ more people all afternoon just to get them to work busily for 15 minutes.

It would be easy for the club to put a barrell of ale in any bar.
They dont have to put it through a line it can be done on gravity.
It would be a great moneyspinner. We only have to look at Orient.
Next Tuesday a lot of shrimpers who carry the appropriate entry card
will be able to gain entry to there Supporters club.
Which last year was voted best club by C.A.M.R.A. members in London.
Its staffed by supporters and has at least 9 ales on any many lagers.
It also opens many other days than home games and runs many beers festivals.
The profits go back to the club. A big money spinner.
I personally know three Spurs season ticket holders who go to every game Spurs are
not at home have some ales before and watch the match.
They would not go if this was the case.
Last season Sharon and Gary did a good job with the Southend United beer festival.

I will chat to the man soon, perhaps he should talk to you.

It's a good idea actually. Having the club/bar as the centre for local/craft beers and beer festivals could be quite a lucrative idea.

Be happy with that. I Would attend that type of meeting with you?
As i said to Sharon and Garry Lockett last year was more than happy to help with real ale questions.
Which i did last year, and it seemed to work.
Problem is if Southend United are tied into a contract with a brewer?.
Then you could only get a very limited boring range, which would not attract many customers.
If you want can show you what i mean about Orient's Social Club on tuesday.
Be like the old days.!!

No more Gary Lockett but Steve Kavanagh is the CEO I deal with on a regular basis. I have emailed him tonight and will speak to him soon.

Yes they did.

And I sincerely hope they'll do a repeat for the last home game of the season this year against Morecambe.

I've already booked a flight over for myself and Mrs BB to celebrate our promotiion party.
