Please give us Sawyer.

We need the creativity from him as its clearly not coming from the other wing to Halls. Either that or lets give JJ a run but JP and Kane are too defensive and with granty not really looking like scoring we need more.

Hopefully the biggest bonus would be potentially getting the best out of Harris. We'll have to wait and see...

That looks a really sensible midfield line up and give Sawyer the right opportunity to show what he can do with the right people around him bearing in mind 3yrs ago the midfield he played suited his style

It often takes time in a season to find your best team. Hopefully when Sawyer gets his chance he shows that he worthy of being in our best XI. I hope so, because the only time we played the ball on the floor last night was when he came on.

So just what is the real reason PS won't play Sawyer ?.

I just think Sawyer and Grant when playing together often make a lot of the same runs and go looking for the ball in the same areas. So as far as Sturrock is concerned it's a case of either or and Luggy prefers Grant, therefore Sawyer has to make do with a place on the bench.

There's your answer folks, the manager wants to play long ball... This is not Sawyers style of play so the manager doesn't play him!

Simples!

From what I have seen he only seems able to be effective for periods of and not the whole of a game.So if we play to our overall strengths we must use him for short periods when we need the effect he will have on a game. That makes him one hell of a useful sub. For me he would be the first name on the subs list more often than a starter. I believe this was proven at Accrington.
