agreed... plus the unneccesary 5 minutes it takes to pull up/drop down the hande at every set of stairs/ escalators..
 
As a daily traveller on the DLR there is nothing better that a big wet umbrella for clearing space.
I am firmly in favor of the Umbrella.
 
I have an umbrella as I have to d oabout 70 mins walking to and from work each day. The only downside is when I put a wet brolly in my bag and get my marmite sandwiches all soggy. :(

I actually have a few male friends in the city that are not Jessies lol. I have yet to see Dave in the city so will keep you posted on whether he has a briefcase on wheels with a secret umbrella in it :D
