No my weekend turned to sh!t!

Tickets to watch "The Police" at twickenham on sunday never turned up in the post (compo claim pending).
Missed 1st goal at the Gills game coz i was stuck at the Southend sorting office trying to locate above tickets.
Took parents to airport and missed England game (although i knew this would happen).
Journey to my Sisters from airport had to be diverted coz A21 between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge was shut (cost extra 40 mins). ****S!!!
With a free Sunday i thought i'd fix my pannier rack to my new bike, bl00dy thing don't fit and i'm going on hols with the bike on Saturday.

Best bit of weekend - Leon Clarke's goal and the p!ss taking of Roycie!

"Tonight ~ Working until 1.30am(ish); we have a hen party of 15 booked in (Spanish lasses so they'll all be drop dead gorgeous) and there's France v Argentina on the big screen; should be a good night."

Didn't lock up until 2.30am; home by 2.45am. A decent night but the hen party got a bit tiresome after a while!

"Tomorrow am ~ chill out in the sunshine watching England v India ODI on the terrace with an ear out for the score coming in from Roots Hall."

Not a chance. Didn't emerge until 10.30am and then shuffled around the house with very little enthusiasm. Nice weather though.

"Tomorrow pm ~ working until 2.00am(ish); England v USA RWC and England v Israel Euros on dual screens so it will be a busy start to the shift; working with boss so, being rugby mad, he's decreed that all the bar staff can wear England rugby tops, excellent! No shirts! Missing Hercules B v Javea because of work; hope to celebrate another win with end-of-shift drink ..."

Very, very busy during the sport but the crowds evaporated as soon as it finished so an early night! It was the last night of the three-week long port fiesta and everyone headed to the coast to watch the fireworks (which were due at 1am) so we managed to chuck out a couple of stragglers and shut the bar at 11.30pm ~ result! Home by 11.45pm; bed by midnight. Exhausted. Javea drew 1-1 down in Alicante; scored the opener in the second minute of added time - celebration? No! Hercules B scored the equaliser in the SEVENTH minute of added time! WAaaaAH!

"Sunday ~ chill out at Moskito beach bar with the missus at some point; haven't had time to get down there much this summer due to work overload. Might wander along Arenal whilst missus trawls the artesan market stalls; probably wander into one of the bars instead ..."

Up at 10am. Didn't get out to the beach bars until 6pm! Dinner on the Arenal; cursory look at the market stalls. Home by 10pm.

friday: nothing planned, ended up going roebuck and getting totally mashed. good laugh.

saturday: turned out as planned, watching the blues/england (very hung over).

sunday: played for szfc then wen peter boat in the evening.
