Mine didnt,could not be arsed with the game friday as only a friendly,lost 2.1 so good call on my part.
sat was as per thread as was sunday,in all a good weekend off from not working.

Yes mine did totally. Had a brilliant time on Friday and Saturday and Sunday spent most of it in bed recovering from Saturday.

Pretty much. Excellent fish and chips Friday night, a cracking day of drink and football on Saturday, then a top class fry-up on Sunday to help the recovery. Even the M25 on the way back was nice and quiet....

Big time. Had a excellent weekend. Friday I had a wedding, Saturday Marlborough Head - ShrimperZone Event and yesterday I managed to make the Small Faces convention in London.

Yes, mostly. The dinner at the InterContinental was very enjoyable. The cricket at Lord's was, of all the events, the dampest squib. India were unbelievably disappointing - they simply didn't turn up. Shocker. To be fair, Jimmy Anderson played brilliantly - I think it's the best I've ever seen him bowl, as well as taking two decent catches - aided and abetted by Broad & Freddie. After two daft early dismissals - KP, Bell and Colly made the batting look ludicrously easy.

As for Prince yesterday... I am tempted merely to say:

Best. Gig. Ever.

Seriously, I've always been fond of Prince without really knowing his stuff that well - but the man is an absolute genius, a musical polymath. If I could play the piano half as well as he can, I'd be as pleased as punch; but he also is an amazing dancer, a superb guitarist and has a stunning voice. Add to that a fabulously choreographed show - especially in terms of the lighting - and a really good venue (I was very impressed with the O2), and all in all it added up to a truly stunning evening. Incredible to think that the tickets were only £30 or so... the rendition of Purple Rain will live long in the memory as being, perhaps, the best single number I've ever seen performed live.

So yes, a top weekend all round.

Had an extremely detailed discussion with the Mrs on Friday night regarding her attitude, and I have to say she has reacted well so far, with an extradinary fine effort Saturday morning in preparing me for the days events (even offered to Gift wrap the prize for the Raffle on Saturday).
Had a good day Saturday albeit I had to put myself to bed early in the evening.
Sunday was spent shopping, and running the kids about.

Went exactly as planned... except Friday night was disrupted by a few of my friends having a row and i got absolutely no packing done, so i'll have to rush everything for Saturday which will undoubtedly mean I miss something out and leave it here instead of my new place

S'alright. Cleaned the house, listened to the boys. Watched two new episodes of Battlestar Galactica. Desperately tried to learn about Frame Relays and Virtual Circuits.

Friday - Round a mates house, hot tub, beers, chinese. Happy days

Saturday - Southend win, England win the football, cricket and rugby. Out in Chelmsford saturday night, got very drunk, danced like a fool, ate a kebab.

Sunday - Won 9-0.
