I think Phil has missed a trick by having too much experience of being an actual football manager rather than having just seen some of his team's matches and played some of the Football Manager computer games a bit.

Dont be daft, we saw Williams for 6 minutes. What can he possibly know that we dont?

At this level you don't need to be a great footballer. By showing desire to chase,close down, run for lost causes this squeezes the play and forces teams like Oxford (not a great deal of footballing talent in that side) to make mistakes and give away possession. Basic stuff really. Any player given time on the ball looks good. The great players are ones that can do it when they don't have that time and at this level you won't see many capbale of doing this. Loza was excellent at doing this and got his rewards. Lets hope this momentum carries on into Saturday and beyond.

Mrsblue, are you Williams' mum? Every thread you are involved in seems to end up as a discussion about him. If there was a thread about Russia annexing Crimea (there may well be, I haven't looked), you'd pipe up in there saying Williams' should be leading the attack in the last 15 mins.

We get that you rate him, just don't keep banging on about it in every thread.
