Of course we'll be shorter of cash than we usually would during the close season as there's no ticket, programme, food or merchandise sales.

Not if the umbongo was related to an issue other than non paymenty of players wages.

The accounts are late to companies house, the way I read the leagues regulations (see the Finances forum) if the accounts are not submitted to the league by the same deadline as that set by companies house then they can put an embargo in place.

Indeed and if CCCSiders statement above is correct re: Players signing "Pre-Contract" agreements. That is setting a few alarm bells off in my head.
