The fact that he was one away was to make it even more plausible, showing that he does get it wrong sometimes, proving couldn’t possibly be a con!!!! Bit like a pool shark throwing a few games before taking your money.

Completely agree. It was a total set up IMHO - I mean why not film Derren going into this mysterious casino?
 
I would like to see Derren Brown get the cattle prod/hammer treatment dished out to cheaters at the Tangiers Casino.
