Former footballer and manager Gordon Jago has died aged 92.

Jago built the basis of the QPR team that came within one point of winning the league title in the 75/76 season, although he had left the club by then.

After a stint managing Millwall, Jago relocated to the US where he had great success in indoor and outdoor 'soccer' as both a manager and administrator.
