Deadpool 2017

It was very sad the hear that John Wetton has passed away aged just 67. He had commercial success with Asia in the 80s, but I will remember him most fondly for his time as vocalist and bass in King Crimson. I saw him live at the Astoria in London many years ago and in Asia in 2014.

He appeared on my favourite track of all time, Starless, from Red. Wetton is the vocalist, and if you stay to the very end, it is his thumping bass line that finishes the song. Unusually, Wetton played bass with a plectrum.
