Deadpool 2016

It's nothing to do with political correctness. Its It's about having an ounce of respect for someone who has sadly passed away.

Maybe and maybe not.

In answer to your second point, for me it's all about the music.

I was genuinely upset when Terry Kath,Al Wilson and a whole host of others died tragically young. Not by this news.

I think everyone understands your views now Barna. Probably its time to rein it in on this one.

Progressive rock legend Keith Emerson has died. It's a really busy start to the year.

Very sad news indeed. Brain Salad Surgery is a great album, with a great cover as well.

I read an interview with Keith the last time ELP toured where he complained that Lake and Palmer didn't practice enough to perform at their best for every show they did. Whatever you may think of his music, he always wanted to put on a decent gig.

Any man who puts a scaffolding pole through a piano then plays it while being spun around deserves respect. Taurus was a great album as well. What doesn't deserve respect is an ageing commie pigdog that takes delight from others grief. But then again, he has been getting away with it for years so one shouldn't be too surprised.

Crickey, you sound just like Genial Harry Grout!

Totally agree; Paul Daniels was up there with Johnny Morris and Johnny Ball as the TV Stars I will always remember as a kid, very funny man, sad day.

Even ex-communists get old (if they live long enough).:smiles:

Btw, not even Marxists call themselves Marxists these days, cf John McDonnell interviewed on Marr last Sunday .

Apparently we're all Radical Socialists or Progressive Socialists or Democratic Socialists etc
