Deadpool 2016

Pete Burns of Dead or Alive is now just dead. Heart attack aged 57.

Shame. One hit wonder and a bit of a car crash, but you can't ever forget this....

I remember my old man spitting feathers when he was on TOTP!

Sad news. One of the greatest pop records of all time IMO.

Bobby Vee and Pete Burns - polar opposites but both great pop stars. RIP guys.

This is my favourite Bobby Vee song....

If you're going to have one hit it may as well be as big as this one. Some of the mixes still do the round out here

I wouldn't call 5 other top 30's from three Albums top 30 , one hit !

Unchained melody was his first number one I think?

Another track made where the famous version was years after JY recorded it.

In the 50's and early 60's Songs were very often released in the UK by British acts after other, often better known artists released them in the US
Too Young was originally a Nat King Cole Number
Unchained melody Had 4 different versions in the UK charts at the same time

Cilla Blacks , Anyone who had a Heart ,was originally a Dionne Warwick number

in January 1957 Tommy Steele and Guy Mitchell were at No 1 and No 2 with versions of Melvin Endsley's song Singin' The Blues.

I always preferred the 80's terrace version about Spurs fans. Banned now days of course.
