What studio was it that caught fire?! Surely not Maple as its too damp, but their plugs do have a tendancy to hang out the walls! :flamer:

i must have used maple about 30times in my life and i dont think we ever paid 'diamond dave'... "lock up when you leave lads!"
 
Probably safer to build your own recording studio - like Chris Rea or Sting.

a few years back a few mates a mine built their own studio in a warehouse off Stock Road industrial estate, it'd still be there if people had paid the rent :mad:
 
well it seems our drum kit has survived, the blaze was at the other end of the unit, still a hell of a lot of gear would have been damaged
 
I got a driving test in three weeks John.

Well I would have been driving for a couple of years now but tearing the cartilage in my knee and the subsequent problems I have had thereafter (and are still having) kind of messed things up a bit!
