Daniel Bentley

After his move to Bristol City from Brentford I thought that might be a sign of a downward spiral but wow didn’t see that move coming and then starting a game in the premiership. I thought it would happen in his Brentford days but not like this. Congrats.

Did they give him the debit because Wolves are safe now ? The usual first team goal keeper was on the bench ?

He only got a 1st appearance for us because of injury and, to his credit, he took his chance.

What's to say he won't do the same again?

Not often I see a performance from a previous player and have any form of emotion come forth. Watching Bentley making some top saves at Old Trafford for Wolves in a top division fixture had me cheesing from ear to ear. Good on the lad and hopefully he plays himself in for next season

You may be right with that last thought.
.There may well be League One clubs prepared to give him a chance — the lower level Championship clubs will be only too aware of his deficiencies.
Seems like his “deficiencies” still managed to get him a man of the match award on his premier league debut. I bet Wolves are green with envy when they cast their eyes at Harrogate’s goalkeeper.

You don't mean the one who spent the majority of last season on the bench as Harrogate's second choice ?
