Apart from the obvious, the change was explained by Glenn Pennyfather on the radio. It's to counter the change made by Daggers. They put an extra man in midfield and were starting to get on top. The change gives us an extra man in midfield, but also gives us a slightly different attacking threat.

Lols, this aged superbly well.

Daggers brought on an extra man in midfield and started to gain a foothold. We were in danger of being overrun.

We brought on another midfielder to match them 3 for 3 in the middle, and the pendulum has swing back.

Genuine question. What have you seen him do since he joined the club to suggest he has a claim?

It’s not that I think Waldron is miles better. It’s more that Walker is picked consistently, and consistently doesn’t deliver. People seem to rate Walker way above Waldron, despite Waldron actually having a better scoring record. I just don’t understand why Waldron doesn’t at least get a run of games to show what he can do.
