The intense press is why we are so good, was the same when we were 'on' last season. Massive work-rate, belief, and being first to everything. Just hope we can keep it up!
 
Powell is causing them problems but with his usual lack of final touch. Also going down too easily which will mean he'll lose the 50/50 decisions. Overall we've been well in control
 
Well that was as dominant as the Oldham game, in fact even more so. Complete control of the midfield. The rare chances something falls to them to start a break, we’re taking the ball back of them in seconds.

Vital we keep turning the screw and get a cushion, especially with the games going to 105 mins plus.

Ron Martin, you simply do not deserve the commitment and appetite so evident in this team.

Only one team in it at the moment, and it ain't Daggers. The intensity of the crowds reaction to Harry's goal was absolutely awesome. So awesome we had two of ours removed by the Old Bill !

Quite amusing to watch a career politician at work though. She’s definitely taking every opportunity to be seen - most notably the catwalk in front of the stand to read and admire the array of Southend United flags.

Can’t blame her though and based on her recent activities, she’s earned that right.

I doubt any of us are taking her politics into account. She is supporting the team and long may that continue.
