They don't let in many at home... Going to be tough but we have beaten them twice this season and we are generally better away, think it will be a 1 1 draw, Tomlin with our goal.

Looking at bbc weather for dagenham... There isn't a lot of rain forecast? Where are people getting that info from?

The BBC forecasts sun for Dagenham on Wednesday so don't see why people are worried about the game not being on. I'm 99% sure it will be.

Should be looking to win this more clearly than last season. Won't be going this time but would hope and expect more than just a couple of dozen of our ticketless hordes to turn up in the home areas and be vocal this year.......please !!!! Expect crowd to top 4K

This is going to be p iss easy. A 6-0 away win for the Shrimper's, we'll all be singing 'jingle bells' with total confidence just 10 mins in. Thank you very much for the three points Dagenham.

Football has a tendency to kick you where it hurts, when you least expect it. Following the glowing reviews from Fridays performance, i'm expecting a 'after the lord mayors' performance on a very heavy pitch. Law of averages dictates we're lose a game sooner or later, and i'd rather lose one of the next 2 away, then beat the pikeys from Kent on New Years day, and the West London part time Chelski fans, in the F.A. Cup 4 days later.
In an ideal world (Carlsberg etc) we will get results in all four, but i'd be surprised if that happened.

Christmas Day in Dagenham is being forecast as rain in the morning, cloudy but dry in the afternoon. Boxing Day it's reversed, with a cloudy but dry morning, and the rain expected to start as the second half kicks off.

I don't take this or any other game for granted and I don't think we can be too complacent about it. A win would be wonderful but I'll happily settle for a draw.

True but we are playing a pub side, albiet a reasonable pub side.

We should be humbling teams like them if we want out of this league.

I can't believe some of these posts. They are a real decent side on a fantastic run at the moment, 2nd in the form charts I believe. Just sold a player for £750k to a Championship team, but because they are called Dagenham and Redbridge we should automatically smash them? IF we lose they will be 3 points behind us with a game in hand.

Its a tough game, and a draw would actually be a really good result. Hope we win though

Amazing to believe people can belittle D&R in such a way when only a few seasons ago we all moaned about Leeds fans thinking they had a divine right to be beating us. Would take a draw.

TBF leeds should be beating teams like southend 9 out of 10. There gates and set up are premier league and the quality of player they had was light years above most of the teams in in our division.

I agree that league 2 is a lot closer in terms of quality , but with gates of 1800 and the budget restraints that go with we should be beating the likes of daggers.

We have a much better squad than them in every slot on the pitch.

My original post was slightly tongue in cheek. I have a lot of respect for daggers and the job they do.

I think it will be a tough game defiantly.Dagenham doing very well on limited budget again. If this heavy rain continues the game must be in real doubt though, which will be a shame every football fan loves boxing day football.

True but we are smashing everyone at the moment so why shouldn't feel a bit a confident?

Heavy rain forecast for the 24th and 25th.

Anyway, we should be fearing no one at the moment. We're a side full of confidence, playing some lovely football and have the most in-form striker in the country.

2-0 away win.

Won't be on...torrential as we speak!
