D-day

was down at the ticket office about 10.30 this morning and they were moving the stadium model out of the you show room. take it they are transporting it to the civic centre, they were also bringing in loads of banners saying 'support your town' etc. quite a fewof them too!

I have to come from Chelmsford though! Have no idea where I am going. Plus its warm inside.
 
I don't want to travel all that way to come home disapointed! Like Cardiff TWICE for the LDV vans.
 
My money is on a Deferral, (which is no bad thing as it means the Council are still supportive). The residential apartments would be at least one issue in my mind, just looks like its been bolted on with not too much thought. I wouldn't be surprised if they come back with a reason such as this.
 
Deferral is where my money is as well, closely followed by refusal as second favourite. For some reason, I just can't see the proposal being accepted today.

I think we'll get a refusal with lots of empty concillatory noises from the Council to try and defuse criticism of them... then spineless Rochford will follow suit

My contact at The Civic Centre has just informed me the council chambers are rammed with 200+ fans, and another 500+ are gathered outside at the moment all decked in support the stadium merchandise and banners.
