ahhh, always liked the name marino, reminds of that 70 motorcycle cop series "chips" for some strange unknown reason!

You certainly have to take the metaphorical hat off to Col******r. Who saw all this coming?

Yes. They are doing extremely well indeed. After four games they were dead and buried, but somehow, someway they pulled it together. I think having virtually the same team as last season has helped them, and they have obviously got a great team spirit.

I do believe, and this was referred to by one of their players in a BBC Essex interview, that their $hite ground is a massive oplus factor for them. I believe that a lot of the Championship big boys just don't fancy it, or it doesn't inspire them to play well. To be fair though I doubt this would have been an issue for Cardiff City.

On the plus side, I am 100% confident that we will end their great run at Layer Road - did I hear right that they have renamed it the Layerdrome? - as they know we always beat them (or at least don't lose). I would think for the game at the Layerdrome(?) Tilly should pick, as near as possible, the team that won there 3-0 last season.

Its the players who have named it the Layerdome, because some of the prima donnas who have come down with the 'big' clubs dont fancy playing there. Our boys think its funny to see the look on their faces when they see the ground and even more so the changing rooms
