As much as it  pains every limb in my sad 40 year old body, I cannot beleive the inbreds are doing so well, because at the start of the season they looked so ropey after four games but to everyones amazement they have turned it around! Perhaps not bringing in to many players in the summer as stood them in good stead as the majority of there squad was playing div1 footie last season, but today result against Cardiff, well, what can you say, because I for one never thought they would win today!

Absolutely, they have done well and deserve full credit for that.

Thanks guys praise indeed, we could have won by more as we had a goal disallowed after 3 minutes, and had Cardiff on the run for much of the game. This was with 3 first team players missing, although Kevin Campbell did hit the bar for them after a very good run. Our next game at home is you guys in 3 weeks time, after 6 home wins on the bounce, is it all set for a Southend away win

You have kick started our season before, C&P... It would be neighbourly of you to do it again!

PS Got any players looking for a loan spell that doesn't involve too much travelling?

I think our tea lady is looking for a transfer

All you can to is to attack us & put some through ball pass our defencer, you will get 3 goals like every championship side did. Its getting become a joke now for SUFC, League 1 is more likely route for us this season.

I'm afraid the Cup has Monkied around with our season, much as the FA Cup did with yours last year. I am praying for an honourable defeat Tuesday (2-3 anyone?) so we can put it behind us and get on with the important stuff.

Without a doubt give it a good go and get out, the league is very important to both our clubs, remember 4th from bottom will do!

To be honest, I think we have more chance at Layer Road than the six sides who have gone (and been beaten before).

It's a huge culture-shock to these so called big sides, coming to a ground with a tiny pitch, with the home fans so close to the touchline.

When Col U attack these sides early on, getting balls into the box as quick as possible, it's very intimidating for the away sides.

When teams such as ourselves visit, it's not the same, these sort of games are familiar territory! Looks at Dol U's two home defeats - against Barnsley & Plymouth.

Still, let's wait and see. After two home defeats against Preston (1-3) and Plymouth (2-3), we'll need a win, that's for sure!

True MB, having said that it was not long ago that Cardiff were in town, and I hope its a while till we meet them again, well their so called fans anyway. these guys still live in the 70's and 80's with about 100 of them squaring up to the home fans after the game

I think the early defeats were the boards fault not putting George in the hot seat earlier so when the decision finally came, he did not have the time to bring in the r/h man he needed to steady the ship.
