Rememeber us signing Boere for £150k and thinking "that'll be a great signing" remebering him scoring twice in the last 5 minutes for Wet Sham at Leeds a year or so before - how right I was eh???
Funny enough he always seemed to score when I saw him play (though obviously I didnt get to many games in those days!!)
Do remember him scoring 2 decent goals at Elm Park in a 3-2 defeat somewhere amongst our spiral down the league..memory thinks it could have been around Feb or March 1997.
