Yeah, I get it, but stewards are still deployed by stand.I understand what you are saying here but can you honestly say that everyone in the singing section are standing in their correct seat and haven't moved from another area of the West.

Tom also apologised about this at the Trust AGM last night, saying it was a mistake within the system that should never have happened.
Nobody can tell you whether safe-standing is possible without conducting some design work and spatial/ sightline studies. That hasn't been done.I'll take your comments back @Smiffy, but believe this is worth mentioning. We're not a typical NL league nor do we have, or plan to have, a typical NL ground.
I believe you'll be told you can't just have freedom to roam across the North and West Stand for safety and security reasons. A seat is sold to a person whose information is on the records, if you have free movement, you can't identify perpetrators, and stewards are allocated to stands so if you suddenly had mass movement, it would cause safety problems.
Also, if they don't think safe standing is a possibility in the North, then they are not going to go back to terracing.
Couple of bits of feedback from the Southend game.
The seats in section NA were filthy and covered in a layer of dirt/dust.
Also there was no working speaker in that section of the stand.
I didn't see the QR code posters so haven't relayed back but perhaps this could be raised.
I normally post them when I get them.Just a quick question. Apologies if I've missed a thread somewhere but are answers from to the feedback provided anywhere?
I understand the speakers where still out on Saturday.
Excellent thankyouAnd, quick as that, contractors are in at the end of this week to resolve the issue with the speakers in the North Bank![]()
Good work Kay...to be fair though, the Club are obliged to have working PA in all stands, otherwise you can't broadcast emergency announcements, so it is actually very dangerous. And, quick as that, contractors are in at the end of this week to resolve the issue with the speakers in the North Bank![]()
I’m amazed they didn’t know they weren’t working, very sloppy, it’s a good job we have fans who care.Good work Kay...to be fair though, the Club are obliged to have working PA in all stands, otherwise you can't broadcast emergency announcements, so it is actually very dangerous.
That's why the North Bank speakers are not working, didn't have enough connections for the cables to get my speakers working so had to make a few sacrifices!I blame Ben @They Call It Madness!!! as he has little time to sort out any speaker problems around the ground as he lazes around in his luxurious surroundings in the Music room.
I actually took a pic of it before he went in last Saturday.

Totally. I've let Tom know immediately, earlier in the season when they were out in the West. Bad enough you can't hear the excellent Q&As that are arranged by @Suffolk Shrimper In Dorset for his SUEPA guests, but, as you say, it's the safety announcements which should crucially be heard by all.Good work Kay...to be fair though, the Club are obliged to have working PA in all stands, otherwise you can't broadcast emergency announcements, so it is actually very dangerous.
