just a thought, but if Bennett lost some pace as often happens with a long/serious injury perhaps hes looking to go back to being a centre back?
Clifford look like a player that is not afraid to shoot, this is what we needed! We didn't have that sort of player last season!
Judging by the last couple of games in pre-season I'd say Brown has told BBBC to be like this as well now. I was surprised at some of the long range shots he attempted against both QPR and West Ham.Clifford look like a player that is not afraid to shoot, this is what we needed! What a cracking signing in Clifford. Well done PB.

Quite shocked no one else has come in for the lad.
Never rated Prosser at left-back, far better CB and keep him there and let him develop as a CB rather than keep moving him
Barker wasn't good enough for left-back last season, not quick enough and easily beaten on far too many occossions, so back-up CB for me, which only leave Coker
Therefore we have signed a back-up left-back who can also play in the center
What a cracking signing in Clifford. Well done PB.

I'm half tempted to get a new away shirt with Clifford on the back. Think I'll wait and see how he plays first.
My only issue with Clifford is that I fully expect him to have disciplinary problems and the occasional suspension, those challenges are the type refs don't like!
This Clifford bloke looks too good to be true!? The video of him is absolute class.. Anyone else thinking how comes he joined our club at our level? Has he got any "issues". I know he hasn't had a club for a while and is looking to establish himself somewhere, but I would have thought a league 1 club would have been interested? I wasn't aware we faced much/any competition for his signature. Am I being a tad suspicious?
Let's keep our feet on the ground... the Youtube stuff isnt new and he's had chances to join other clubs who have all passed him up. There must be a reason why; we just don't know what it is yet.
Fingers crossed he can replicate some of those YouTube moments.
As an ex-Chelsea youth Clifford reminds me of Sawyer. I hope that is where the similarity ends in terms of behaviour off the pitch.
Good to have him aboard the T.E.G. starship on route to Division 2.
Reminds me more of Grant.
