Yeh it was rigsby I clocked that.I think that was @rigsby that Ron owes something. He owes me my Season ticket money back. I'm sure there was some blurb in the renewal last year about the players will give 100%. Clearly false advertising

I echo many fans by saying thanks @stan collymore after last nights despair, my 17 year old son was in tears, thats how much it hurts this is a breath of fresh air and although a long process its a start and with news of the CEO and Ron meeting next Tuesday already some progress has been made
As for the protest, we will be their on the 08.05.21, maybe by then there will be further positive news, but the fact is we shouldnt have been in this position in the first place and thats why a show of support for @Save our Southend , a show of strength is important as a fan base. Im looking forward to just being near Roots Hall and having a sing song with fellow shrimpers. Lets be positive, get the message across in the right way and show hoe much this club means to us all (but also in safe manner)

Thank you Stan for taking the time, it was my hope that Ron may listen to someone with your knowledge and experience in football. and be willing to accept your offer of help. It sounds like he did, so credit needs to go to Ron too.

Hang on. What is that strange feeling I am having. I think its called positivity about this terrific club of ours.
Hopefully it is the first baby step towards making some future happy memories. Much needed as my little old brain is struggling to recall past glories these days.

As someone else mentioned, let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Ron has got to like the proposed person and the proposed person has to like Ron, plus the financials have to make sense for both.
Can I ask if the long term sustainability of the club was discussed? Ron's succession plan? Income from new stadium etc?

Stan you have achieved in that 50 minutes much, much more than I thought could be achieved. And that’s not in any way a put-down whatsoever, I just didn’t believe Ron would be open to many - if any - suggestions on accepting help and how best to move the club forward. The update you’ve now posted is fantastic and I’m sure gives all of us hope that the future will be much brighter than the present.

not to put a damp quid on the protests aimed for next sat .But such action may just may under mind what stan is trying to do .I like to say Stan need the help of every supporter to make Ron martin sit up and take notice .The club Is in need of a CEO .Please do shoot me down im on the side of everyone of you in the get rid of Ron but from what i have just read its not going to happen .But with Stans help the club may turn the corner .

i have read all the post from stan back to front inside out .But if you think your Ron out is going to make him go think again .He will hear you but will he take notice i doubt it .
