Northwich Victoria's Paul Brayson has beaten Col Ewe's Mark Yeates by 32% to 29% to take the FA Cup Player of the round award. At least something we tried came off this weekend!

The FA Clicky thingy

When you grow up you will learn what scum really means.
You guys need to get a life if this sort of thing is so important to you.
Out of interest, are you all students or tennagers?

Wheras taking the time and trouble to read this sort of thread and then criticise the people involved when you know nothing about them is a very grown up thing to do? It may not be your idea of fun, but I think it comes under the heading of harmless rivalry/banter. Chill, Dude!

PS - I have never called anyone scum, an overused and in this context fairly meaningless word....

Diddums!

This *IS* a Southend United fans messageboard - do you really expect us not to laugh long and hearty at any misfortune to befall our closest rivals?

I was in Tescos yesterday having a look around. I opened a door to what I thought was the toilets, but it was the wrong door - it was one of the offices. As I walked in, I caught one of the chaps at his desk flicking a ball of paper at his colleague. Well of course, I stopped long enough to tell him EXACTLY what I thought of his childish behaviour and timewasting. Can you believe it? The young chaps nowdays, I do believe that there is no hope for them!!!

I play with my action man in my office and he has to save barbie from the evil clutches of kermit the frog every day.

Can we post our ticket details for our designated seats for the Forest match so we can all sit together and discuss this at half-time?

This is all a bit juvenile, why should we care if a scum player wins the FA Cup Player of the Round award? Col U are going nowhere, unlike us - thats ALL that matters IMHO.

Sadly I can't get to the Forest game, though I had intended to. But what is to discuss? You stumbled across a thread that you didn't like. Instead of ignoring it, you chose to make disparaging comments about what we were up to - not the first time you have been critical of other peoples sense of humour, IIRC. Of course you were perfectly entitled to post, but we are just as entitled to counter post. And as you chose to comment on our "immaturity", can I just say that the mature thing would have been to close the thread without sharing your great wisdom with us, shake your head sadly at the nonsense some people waste their time on, and start reading stuff you are interested in.

So what? Nobody made you go and vote. Nobody made you read this thread. Isn't the "Announcer goes Tits up" thread even more juvenile? Haven't seen you complaining on there. Is the approach of Winter killing off everyone's sense of humour?
