Breaking News Col Ewe ticket details on OS

I think and, more to the point, hope we don't sell full allocation to STHs as I bought my train ticket for this one before Christmas. I knew I was taking a chance and no problem with STHs having first bite but (adopts pleading self-pitying tone) if they do sell out and any of you buy one you don't need...

Not sure how this affects you but Dad of Dave the Shrimper posted on here before christmas that there is maintenance work on the train line that day. Apparently everyone from this end of the world can only go as far as Billericay by train, and then a bus service runs to Colchester.

i dont think its fair on us fans who go to most the away games and im getting ****ed of with how the club treats us!!!
But i guess i got to camp out in the snow after tue game to get my ticket

Hardly think thats necessary. Doubt there will be hundreds queuing up first thing weds morning.

The reason the pricing system is a joke, is that when you get in, they allow you to sit anywhere, according to my millwall supporting mate. The people who paid the extra £4 were none too happy

i dont think there do that if its not a sell out.maybe if its half empty?

no i am a Season Card Holder and have been since League 2!!
but i think Season Card halders that go to away games should of got first pickings,
Look at the end of the day Southend United are two faced because they go round calling our away fans the best in the UK but then go round acting like they dont even care about us,

Can you explain what you mean by "go round acting like they dont even care about us"?

Ive just read the bit "tickets are available on a one per person basis, call or vist the ticket office" - I assume that one STH can call up and buy for themself and other STHolding friends??

I'd be horrified if that wasn't the case Sam as i'm intending on going down tomorrow with around a dozen season cards

Oh good thanks for that! I thought that would be the case, but you know what they can be like sometimes down at the ticket office. They make up random rules on different days of the week! I will calling up tomorrow for 4 - just hope I can get through easier than the Chelsea fiasco.

I just can't understand the way they work it out. I agree with the point that supporters who attend alot of games be it home or away should have prefrence. But why can't they just say, one person can buy upto 20 tickets as long as they have the season cards on hand and the holder of each card has attended the right amount of games, whats the problem. I know tickets will fall into different hands anyway, but that happens at every football club in the country. The only way of trying to combat that is to have everyone buy there ticket in person from the ticket office. And that aint going to happen.

Thanks for tip. Coming down from up north changing at Peterborough for Norwich and then on to Colchester so that maintenance work won't affect me. Though I'm sure there will be another set of maintenance works somewhere along my route.:)
